- Description
- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Endeavor Information Systems, Inc. (Ex Libris). 1350 East Touhy Ave. 200E, Des Plaines, IL 60018 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The award will be issued subject to FAR Subpart 12, Commercial Item Acquisition Provisions. The NRC requires server and software support, maintenance on the Voyager Integrated Library System, and the creation of a null database from Ex Libris for the Office of Information Services. The services are required to support the Voyager Integrated Library System employed by the NRC Technical Library. The period of performance for this purchase order is twelve (12) months. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers, however all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than 3:00pm EST September 14, 2007. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
