- Description
- The Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting, intends to release a solicitation for Movement of Government-Owned Office Furniture and Equipment at Fort Bragg, NC. With the exclusion of government property, the contractor shall furnish all personnel, eq uipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, for the preparation and movement of Government-owned office furniture and equipment related services, as defined in the Statement of Work. Contractor tasks will include, but are not limited to the fol lowing: a premove survey, tagging of items, inventorying, loading, weighing, drayage, unloading and placing property in new location and removal of all empty containers and materials from the location. The Request for Proposal will be 100% set-aside for small business. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract with a base year beginning 1 July 2007 through 30 June 2008, with four (4) one-year options periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488991, and the size standard is $23.5 million. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), W91247-07-R-0005, on or about 16 March 2007 with a tentative closing date of 02 April 2007. The RFP and amendment will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be re gistered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer.
