Description

This effort is for Investigate migration of the SSP Advanced Inventory and Logistics (SAIL) database from Sybase to Oracle and the migration of the Universal Wire List (UWL) Access database to Oracle. In addition, a recommendation of methods to minimize database dependence will be documented as part of this effort. Contractor may be required to travel to support meetings or working sessions at SSP headquarters or other facilities. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT II D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Control System and Attach Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort. See Note 2.*****All efforts shall be performed in accordance with the T9001B checklist dated July 27, 2005 Fire Control Type, Development Column.
