Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. (Amended Solicitation Number) Prospective bidders who submitted a response to the Sources Sought Notice issued under Solicitation No. HSCG82-07-B-3WCA49, which was posted on June 19, 2007, do not need to respond again. This is the same project now being issued under Solicitation No. HSC82-07-B-3WCA51: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Rehabilitation of the Barracks Building at U. S. Coast Guard Base Charleston. The project consists of renovating the Barracks Building. Specific work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of CMU walls, ceramic tile floors and wainscot, suspended acoustical ceilings, doors and door frames, plumbing fixtures, mechanical and electrical systems and abatement of asbestos-containing items and lead paint. New construction consists of new metal stud walls, CMU infill, new doors and door frames, new suspended acoustical and gypsum board ceilings, new floor finishes and base, new restrooms with fiberglass showers and ceramic tile floor and wainscot, new mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems. Exterior new work consist of temporary housing for displaced users, replacement of the air inlet grills with brick to match existing, removal and replacement of all window and door perimeter sealant, new handicap ramp access and a new generator and generator platform. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fedbizopps.gov under the above solicitation number. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2002 code is 236210 The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipt of $31.0 million. This solicitation is a 100 percent set-aside for qualified HUBZone small business concerns. We anticipate that the solicitation will be issued on August 2, 2007.
