- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-07-RP-0277 for the following supply item: The contractor shall be required to complete and deliver to designated local inscription contractors, Blank Small Flat Granite Markers (L1). The locations are located in the following locations: Columbus, Mississippi; Seattle, Washington; and, Atwater, California. Specific sites will be listed in the actual solicitation. The blanks will be delivered within fifteen (15) days following receipt of order. Multiple awards are anticipated from this solicitation. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one blank granite sample representative of the stone to be used and the finish to be attained, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for shipping and handling of the markers to each location: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, 3) Price. This contract will be for a base year with 3 potential options years, effective October 1, 2007. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about September 6, 2007. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about September 18, 2007 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 1.
