- The solicitation number is F1S2AA7216A001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20070802. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) code is J042. NAICS is 811310 and the size standard is $6.5M. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The 95th Contracting Squadron, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following service: Line 1: Maintenance of Kidde Propane Aircraft Fire Trainer (12 Months) Line 2: Maintenance of Kidde Propane Vehicle Fire Trainer (12 Months) The requested maintenance includes two (2) service visits to site by one (1) factory qualified Kidde Fire Trainers Technician. Requested visits are to be in October 2007 and in April 2008. All requested services are IAW the Statement of Work, dated 27 August 2007, below: STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR MAINTENANCE OF TWO (2) KIDDE PROPANE FIRE TRAINERS FIRE DEPARTMENT, EDWARDS AFB, CA 27 August 2007 1. Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to service, check functionality, tabulate results, and report on the Kidde Fire Trainers Propane Fuelled Live Fire Training Systems for the Edwards AFB Fire Department. 2. Service Visits-Quantity & Duration: Contractor shall provide a service during the twelve (12) month period which consists of two (2) service visits to site by one (1) factory qualified Kidde Fire Trainers Technicians. Each visit is comprised of three (3) 10-hour days on-site and is based on free access to the site and equipment. All service tasks identified in the Kidde Fire Trainers Manual will be completed during these visits. 3. Unlimited Telephone Support: Contractor shall provide unlimited telephone support during regular business hours for system troubleshooting. 4. Equipment to be Maintained: One (1) Kidde Propane Aircraft Fire Trainer One (1) Kidde Propane Vehicle Fire Trainer 5. Hours of Operation: Service can be conducted anytime between 0700 ? 2000 hours Monday through Sunday. 6. Base Access Requirements: The contractor shall provide 95 CONS/PKB with the following information for each individual requiring base access: Last Name, First Name, MI Driver?s License# and State SSAN Citizenship Date of Birth Place of Birth Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination (Edwards AFB, CA 93524).
