- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, Electronic Systems Center, HQ 754th ELSG/KA, 200 East Moore Dr., MAFB-Gunter Annex, AL 36114-3000 Notice of intent to Award Sole Source to: Northrop Grumman Information Technology is to provide Cargo Movement Operation System (CMOS) Software Maintenance and Support. Intention: HQ 754th ELSG/LR. MAFB- Gunter Annex, AL has a requirement for operation sustainment and supporting activities for the CMOS software sustainment and level II help desk support for ten (10) months with one (1) three (3) month option period. Base Period of Performance: 30 September 2007 through 29 Jul 2008. Justification: supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within 4 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to com pete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
