- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19, Effective 17 Aug 2007 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DCN 20070828. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This action is solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North Am erican Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/ind ex.html. The award will be based on low price and technically acceptable. The quotation shall consist of four Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 2, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Upper Field Coil for Ling 4022 Vibration Exciter (CLIN) 000 2, Quantity: 2, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Lower Field Coil for Ling 4022 Vibration Exciter (CLIN) 0003, Quantity: 2, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Flexure set of eight ea. for Ling 4022 Vibration Exciter (CLIN) 0004, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue : Each, Description: Armature For Ling Vibration Exciter Statement of Work: SCOPE The work covered by this specification includes furnishing all labor, materials, and services required to provide U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) the Ling 4022 vibration system parts and indicated below. The work shall be accomplished in acc ordance with the specifications defined. On-site disassembly or installation of the parts in the existing vibration system is not required as part of this statement of work. NEW ARMATURE a new Ling 4022 exciter armature is required for installation in an existing Ling 340B exciter. The existing exciter has been upgraded for use of a 4022, 2 inch displacement armature, and the replacement armature shall be compatible with the 3 40B exciter body. The armature shall meet Ling 4022 performance specification of 100 g sine operation capability. The armature top surface shall be tapped with 32 each evenly spaced threaded insert holes on 8, 12, 16, and 22 inch circle diameter. UPPER FIELD COILS The contractor shall provide two each upper field coils for a Ling 4022 exciter. The coils shall be new materials, encapsulated design, and pressure tested to insure no leaks exist. LOWER FIELD COILS The contractor shall provide two each lower field coils for a Ling 4022 exciter. The coils shall be new materials, encapsulated design, and pressure tested to insure no leaks exist. FLEXURES The contractor shall provide two sets, total of 16 each, of beryllium copper metallic loop flexures for a Ling 4022 exciter. The flexures shall be new materials, meet 4022 exciter performance specifications, and be fully assembled. SHIPPING For the armature rewind, USAYPG will ship the armature to the contractor facility. The contractor shall provide return shipping of the armature to USAYPG, and is responsible for shipment of other parts to USAYPG. Items shall be delivered by 25 October 2007 at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in Yuma, AZ 85365. Arizona vendors are to include the Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax. Offers shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124R-07-T-1122 and em ailed to the address stated below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than the 13 September 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). In addition, all technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to the address stated b elow no later than the 11 September 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
