- This announces the issue of a solicitation for the following: (1) The design, fabrication, and installation of storage racks/shelves for F-16 external fuel tanks; (2) The modification of the facilities within which the storage racks will be located; and, (3) The design and fabrication of a forklift adapter for the handling of the tanks when being stored. FUNDING NOTE. Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. SITE VISIT NOTE. Site visit prior to submission of quote is strongly recommended, and will be at bidder's/ offeror's request and cost. Subsequent to award a site visit will be required of the selected vendor to review and validate final design. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-AUG-2006).
