- Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, National Veterinary Services, 1800 Dayton Avenue, AMES, IA, 50010. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will note issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR12. This requirement is for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories, 1800 Dayton Ave., Ames, IA 50010. The reference number for this effort is FBO-TC39970 and this combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation RFQ). The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Requirement: Mobile and flexible Pipette and Multi-channel Calibration Workstation;Must be a compact and complete calibration package including one single unit and a single channel set with an evaporation trap for quick calibration of single- and multi-channel pipettes. Multi-channel and Single-channel: Number of channels: 2 ? 12 or 1; Maximum capacity: 101 g; Measurement uncertainty: 0.02 mg; Dimensions of automatic weighing unit (L x W x H): 296 x 171 x 165 mm Dimensions of display unit (L x W x H): 220 x 177 x 91 mm; Weight: 15 kg; Evaporation trap: Built-in; Calibration according to ISO 8655 59 min. for 12 channels Typically 5 sec. per measurement; Calibration fluid capacity: 16 ml per channel; Must have Standard equipment:; Single-channel set with 20 ml evaporation trap Multi-channel set for up to 12 channels Calibration set Carrying case Single-channel pump Reservoir for collecting the test fluid User Manuals Operating Instructions for the Calibration System (pdf and hard copy); Product Documentation Datasheets Pipette Calibration System Documentation Service Plans Data Calibration Certificates On-Demand The provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications? Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall either complete the on-line Offeror Representations and Certification or return a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications with their quotation.
