- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-07-T-0519 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 04 Sep 2007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 561621 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001through 0005. Required Items and Descriptions are as follows. CLIN 0001 Qty: 1 Lump Sum, Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) System, to include 1) Vehicle Mounted Equipments for 46 buses and 1 Crisis Response Vehicle , 2) Monitoring System at Base Station, and 3) Server License (as necessary). CLIN 0002 Qty: 1 Lump Sum, System Installation (Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan). CLIN 0003 Qty: 1 Lump Sum, On-site operating training in English and Japanese (Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan). CLIN 0004 Qty: 1 Lump Sum, Reimbursable Travel Expenses. CLIN 0005 Qty: 12 Months, Annual Communication Services. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer(s) which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following RCO web site http://rco.mcbbutler.usmc.mil/ under solicitation M67400-07-T-0519. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D.
