Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Intereste d persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon r esponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-07-T-0243. This acquisition is issued as an Request for Quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18, dated July 5, 2007. (iv) This acquisition is a sole source to DRS Data & Imaging System, 133 Bauer Drive, Oakland, NJ 07436 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The required equipment and components must be compatible and interchangeable with existing camera hardware and oper ating sofware. The associated NAICS code is 333315. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 0001 Ultra 4 High Speed Framing Camera, PN: 114-100-U4, Quantity 1 each (vi) Delivery is required 30 days after date of contract award. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory, Shipping and Receiving Section, Bldg 434, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Acceptance shall be performed at same address as Deliver y. The FOB point is destination (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: None (viii) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer.
