Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) number is W909MY-07-R-Z156. This solicitati on documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-18 and DFARS Change Notice 20070802. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This procurement is for a maximum quantity of up to One hundred (100), 66,000 BTU Air Conditioners, 208V, 50/60 Hz, 3Ph, Weight shall not exceed 700 lbs. The 66,000 BTU has been identified as the minimum need requirement to support proper climate maintenance. The acceptable commercial part number is: DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc,(SSI), P/N 9454100-7 or equal for the Air Conditioner. The Field Deployable Environmental Control Units (FDECUs) are intended for use in cooling, heating, dehumidifying, filtering, an d circulating air for portable shelters, tents and trucks in order to satisfy equipment and personnel climate control and supports military operations under worldwide climatic conditions. The proposed action is for a three (3) year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite, Delivery, and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the following range quantities for all three years as: Low: 10-20, Med: 21-50 and High: 51-100. Delivery schedule shal l be specified in individual delivery orders. Inspection/Acceptance will be at Origin. Shipments are FOB Destination.
