Description

The National Park Service, Great Smoky Mountains National Park contemplates issuing a sole source purchase order for Cornell Style Insect Drawers (pine hardboard bottom) and Unit Trays for Viking metal (11 drawer) cabinets. This notice of intent is not a Request For Quotes. However interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals . All proposals received within thirteen (13 days) after date of publication of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. See below for a description of the requirements: The Great Smoky Mountains National Park currently owns 792 - Viking metal (11 drawer) cabinets and currently has 70 drawers in its possession to date. The Park needs to completed the cabinets with drawers and unit trays. The following configurations desired to purchase; 722 Cornell style drawer (pine hardboard bottom) units and the following configuration of unit trays with plastazote bottoms: 1600 unit trays, 4 3/8 inch x 7 5/6 inch size; 3200 unit trays, 4 3/8 inch x 3 5/8 inch size; 6400 unit trays, 4 /3/8 inch x 1 13/16 inch size; 7384 unit trays, 4 3/8 inch x 1 1/8 inch size. NAICS Code: 337127 Note: Sole Source Procurement: FAR Clause 6.302 and 6.302-1 apply. Estimated Price Range: Less than $75,000.
