Description
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under full and open competition for Sixty One (61) White Galvanized Steel Doors. ITEM #1 DOOR WIDTH DOOR HT OPENING WIDTH OPENING HT 1 8ft2in 9ft1in 8ft0in 9ft0in Door standard features to include the following: .016in thick roll-formed hot-dipped galvanized steel exterior sections, with metal/foam/metal sandwich, foamed-in-place homogeneous CFC/HCFC free polyurethane insulation. Insulation values: R= 9.31, U = 0.107. Section thickness 1?. Door will be designed to meet or exceed industry standards for wind loading. End stiles will be 20 gauge steel; hinges and fixtures will be galvanized steel. Patented water channel is provided for a drip free opening. The polyurethane foam insulation is fully encapsulated in non-permeable materials for no loss of thermal efficiency. Item one (1) to feature the following: - (1) 20 gauge galvanized end stiles (STD) - (1) Baked-on polyester white exterior with white interior (STD) - (1) EPDM bulb type bottom weatherstrip (STD) - (1) Foamed-in-place CFC free polyurethane insulation laminated to steel skin (STD) - (1) Galv. roll-formed steel sect. with 1in thickness (STD) - (1) Ship-lap meeting rails (STD) - (1) Double Thermal Acrylic Lites 25in x 12in Oval - (1) Lock, Inside Slide #1 (STD) - (74.18) Full Vertical Track ? Door up to 240 square feet. _ (9.08) Track, 2in, Continuous Angle In (#2) Steel Jamb (STD) The applicable NAICS is 332321 and the size standard is no more than 500 employees. The FSC is 5670. The RFQ will be available on or about 10 September 2007. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing Federal Business Opportunity (FEB) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the contractor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that the successful quoter shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract or order resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
