Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Biopac Systems, Inc., 42 Aero Camino, Goleta, California for the purchase of the Biopac MP150 System and related equipment. This system will be delivered, installed and implemented at The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105. This proposed contract action is for the system/equipment mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than September 12, 2007 by 10:00 a.m., to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22.
