- This is a notice of intent/sources sought for the 190th Mission Support Group Contracting Office, Forbes Field, 5920 SE Coyote Drive, Topeka, KS 66619-5370 (NOT THE 184TH IN WICHITA, KS) for any small business vendor who has and can demonstrate capability to provide the following equipment, brand name or equivalent to the Paragon Class IV Laser Marking System: One (1) CDRH Class IV Level 20 Watt Ytterbium Fiber Optic Laser System to include closure and adjustable table: Salient Characteristics of laser: Q-Switched Fiber Laser; 1064-nm wavelength; Pump diode reliability is >100,000 hours MTBF at 20 degree C; 4.3? maximum mark field; Variable power from 5 to 20 watts; 115 VAC; 20-80KHz; 10Kw peak power; Scan head precision, high speed galvos; 160 mm F-Theta Focusing Lens for marking; Scan head equipped with laser safety shutter; Mounted Focusing diodes; Laser source air cooled; Fully integrated and digitally controlled laser and scan head; Imbedded computer w/intel Celeron 2.40 Ghz CPU and 256 MB RAM, 80 GB HDD, containing integrated USB ports and CD-Rom; Single Module containing computer and laser controller with footprint of 22inches H X 8inches W X 19 inches D; Windows operating system with Waverunner laser marking software; Capable of alpha numerical serialization; Capable of UID marking depending on specs; Preview feature for mark location setup; 1 Adjustable scanhead table for holding and focusing 14inches W X 24inches L X 16inches H; System Instruction Manual. Quote must include delivery and installation to include one day on site set-up and training. Responses will not be accepted after 4:00PM CST on 17 September 07. Should this posting not result in any other small business the Government intends to enter in to negotiations with Paragon Holdings LLC.
