Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4561007RC00044 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS 332999. This requirement is for the Navy Consolidated Brig, Charleston, SC 29406. This requirement is for One (1) Enclosed Paint Booth PBTIE-1208 manufactured by Paint Booth Technology or an Equal To. Paint Booth to include the following: Size: 12 foot Wide by 8 foot High by 12 feet Deep. Panels are fabricated from 18 gauge prime quality galvanized steel precision punched on six inch centers for maximum rigidlty. Panels are fastened together with 5/16 inch bolts and are to be sealed with the provide caulk following assembly. Qty one Each. Air Make Up Unit with Heat and Cure, Qty 1 Each; Exhaust Duct Work Package 6 foot roof height, Qty 1 Each; Duct Work for Air Make Up Unit, Qty 1 Each; Installation, Qty 1 Each. To include the following specifications: Lighting is provided by 48 inch long, 4-tube, 32 watt, fluorescent type fixtures. Each is mounted behind the tempered safety glass that is sealed from the interior of the spray booth with a continuous neoprene rubber sealing gasket placed around the perimeter of the light window opening. The unit will have thirty-two (32) light fixtures. There will be two (2) sealed and gasketed fixtures, along with thirty (30) open type fixtures. Standard voltage is 120V/277V single phase. Filtration: Intake air filters: rated by UL as Class 2 and are EPA registered as environmentally safe. Filters are self-supporting in an internal frame sized 20 inches by 20 inches by 1 inch. One set of filters will be supplied with this unit. Exhaust Fan: Tube-axial fan designed for continuous duty and are AMCA certified. Aluminum fan blades are spark resistant and meet all NFPA 33 requirements. Each fan to be factory tested balanced, statically and dynamically, in accordance to ANSI/AMCA 204-96. HP: 2 HP, SCFM: 9600, Fan Diameter: 30 Inches, Power Requirement: 230-460/3ph. Air Make up unit w/heat and cure PBTEHC812K. Air Replacement Unit: Unit to have one (1) direct fired natural gas heater; designed, assembled, wired and factory tested, providing a minimum of 9,600 SCFM of clean tempered air at one-half inch ESP, and having the ability of providing a 100 degree temperature rise from its 1.5 million BTU burner. Unit to be equipped with an insulated casing for its vertical configuration and discharge. A volume control damper is provided to vary the air volume. The AMU?s control panel will be equipped with the starters (VFDS) for the exhaust fan. Mounting stands and the inlet screen and filters are provided for each AMU. Product Doors: One set of product entry doors are included with this booth. Doors to be fabricated with tube steel frames hung on structural channel jambs. They are skinned with an 18 gauge galvanized steel sheet, sealed to the frame with butyl rubber sealant, and pop riveted in place. These doors are provided with a closed cell foam rubber weather stripping seal about the perimeter and a neoprene rubber sweep seal at the threshold. The mounting hardware provided includes a FM approved panic type safety latch, one door limit switch, and four nine inch chrome door pulls. These doors shall provide a clear opening of approximately 11 feet 4 inches wide by 8 feet tall. If quoting an Equal To product, they must meet or exceed the Governments required specifications.
