- The USDA-ARS, SJVASC, Parlier, CA has a sole source requirement for a Sorvall Evolution RC Superspeed refrigerated centrifuge Model # 728211. We currently have a Sorvall superspeed centrifuge and due to compatability issues with the rotors no other brand of centrifuge is acceptable. By purchasing another Sorvall centrifuge we also eliminate the cost of purchasing more rotors and avoid voiding the warranty by using the proper rotors. This is not a small business set aside.
