Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), INVITATION FOR BID (IFB), REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ), REQUEST FOR APPLICATION (RFA) OR AN ANNOUNCEMNT OF A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT ASSUME THE GOVERNMENT WILL AWARD A CONTRACT OR PROCEED WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE SOLICITATIONS IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THIS NOTICE IS ONLY FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES. This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a), veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business) that can provide full time, on-site management, labor and food for daily lunch service to HHS executives and leadership in the Executive Dining Room at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking qualified vendors to provide full time, on-site management, labor and food for daily lunch service to HHS executives and leadership in the Executive Dining Room at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building, located at 200 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 20201. The average daily lunch service is 30 patrons each, NTE 50. The maximum cost to each patron is $10.00. Full Government-furnished and maintained kitchen with commercial appliances is available for use, including dry and refrigerated storage of sufficient size to meet the lunch service NTE. Any interested vendor must have at least five years of experience in serving executives/VIP's, including adherence to all applicable food safety standards. Period of performance is anticipated to be one 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods, for a maximum potential duration of 60 months. CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MUST DEMONSTRATE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED ABOVE. Capability statements must also include the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone/fax/email, and business size and status (e.g., small business, 8(a), veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women owned small business). Responses are requested not later than September 28, 2007 and should not exceed 10 pages. Capability statements will not be accepted after the due date. Interested parties having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements may submit capability statements via email to pscacquisitions@psc.hhs.gov.
