- This announcement constitutes a Request for Quote (RFQ) number HSBP1007Q1128 to procure a High Density Powered Motorized Storage System (HDPMSS) for the Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, BORTAC unit located on Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso, Texas. This is a fixed price acquisition for a commercial HDPMSS, with modifications, for the purpose of storing and securing field gear, supplies, and certain high risk, sensitive items. Only Small Businesses may respond to this solicitation. The awardee must show evidence of successful installations of a similar nature and must have the ability to provide ongoing maintenance and support to the BORTAC unit as specified in the attached documents. Additional information may be from the Contract Specialist: Statement of Work, Solicitation, and Warehouse Floor Plan. Active Status, with a valid registration in the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) database is required prior to award. In addition, all contractor/subcontractor personnel shall be required to undergo background checks prior to commencement of work at the BORTAC Warehouse. A required site visit and warehouse walk-through will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007.
