- Description
- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for annual maintenance of the Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer (LC/MS) and associated peripherals to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Center Dr., Foster City, CA 94404. The LC/MS is utilized by the Air Force Drug Testing Laboratory (AFDTL) to prepare forensic toxicology data in support of mission requirements. The 311 Human Systems Wing/PKBA intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this procurement was made because the current equipment is serviced only by the manufacturer at this time.
