Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) F4D3C37226AK01. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and DFARS Change Notice 20070802. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 812331 and Size Standard $13 million apply to this procurement. STATEMENT OF WORK: All instructions and requirements defined and listed in this Statement of Work (SOW) are directed towards, and are the responsibility of, the contractor unless otherwise noted as a Government responsibility or task. Perform the requirements of this SOW to conform to the professional commercial and industry standards as identified in this contract, and in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory condition and professional base appearance. Schedule and perform all tasks to meet the quality and frequency requirement of this SOW. The Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to re-perform any task if that task was not performed to contract requirements or not performed at all. 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Service Provider shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials/supplies, transportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the linen and uniform service, including pick up and delivery at the 30 Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Vehicle Maintenance, 1221 California Blvd. Bldg. 10711 RM 42 Vandenberg AFB (VAFB), CA 93437. 2. SPECIFIC TASKS: -Delivery/pick-up and cleaning of coveralls for 55 personnel with inventory of 5 set each with at least 2 turn-ins per week per individual. -Coveralls are to be furnished, picked-up, delivered, cleaned, repaired (i.e., zippers, seams, pockets, buttons, name patches, etc.) and replaced when damaged due to normal wear and tear. -Delivery/pick-up and cleaning of 400 shop towels per week with replacements of any towel when damaged due to normal wear and tear (the users are vehicle mechanics, therefore the towels will be used with grease and oil). -Contractor is to bill monthly. All items identified as a loss must be agreed with by the government prior to being charged. -The contractor will pick-up and deliver to bldg 10711 RM 42 between the hours of 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM once a week to exclude weekend and federal holidays. - Upon award of contract, contractor will contact the QAE for names and sizes of vehicle maintenance personnel. 3. RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS. The following Federal Legal Holidays are observed by Vandenberg AFB.
