- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a solicitation of Purchase Request F1W2E97207AQ01 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333912 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. This solicitation also includes brand name or equal line items. Brand name or equal description is intended to be descriptive and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be considered satisfactory to meet the agency's needs. All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: Line Item 0001: Bauer Compressor System, Model V1220-E3-30, 33 SCFM free Air Delivery @ 5000 P.S.I., 30 H.P. 230/460 VAC Three Phase Motor, Vertical Package with Enclosed Cabinet Design, Securus Purification System with Electronic Monitor. Compressor System Requirements include: -- Dew point at least -60F due to environment and must not ice-up under high flow conditions -- Requires a tank storage system for high pressure air storage -- Must be able to filter out particulate up to 20 microns in size In Accordance with Technical Order (or Equal). Quantity: 1 Ea Line Item 0002: DOT-4500 PSI Cylinder, 444 Cu Ft , 145 lbs , (or Equal). Quantity: 4 Ea Line Item 0003: Estimated Cost of On-site Operation and Maintenance Training , includes travel and Hotel, Quantity: 1 Ea Line Item 0004: Freight to Elmendorf AFB, AK 99506, Quantity: 1 Ea Additionally, offers of equal quality must include a copy of the technical description and/or product literature, as well as, a description of commercial warranty. Delivery shall be completed not later than 90 days after receipt of an order and shall be FOB Destination.
