- AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9080E7233N001 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-18. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 488999 with a small business size standard of $6M. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2007-09-07 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Bragg, NC 28310 The USA ACA Ft. Bragg requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR MYRTLE BEACH LOCATION, ONLY! Double Occupancy Rooms FFP Fifty-three (53) each double occupancy rooms are required for overnight stay on 21 and 22 Sep 2007. Check-in time is requested between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on 21 Sep 2007. Check out will occur no later than 12:00 Noon on 23 Sep 2007. Rooms shall be located in the same wing complex. Rooms are to be non-smoking , 106, EA; LI 002, Dinner Buffet FFP Banquet Dinner for 160 participants is required on Friday, 21 Sep 2007. Dinner will be served from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Meals to consists of 2 meats, 2 salads, 3 vegetables, 2 breads/starches, 3 desserts, coffee and ice tea. Price will include service fee. , 160, EA; LI 003, Breakfast Buffet FFP Breakfast for 160 participants will be required on 22 and 23 Sep 2007. Breakfast will served from 7:30 am to 9:00 am each morning. Meals are to consist of two (2) meat, one (1) egg complement (scrambled) three(3) starches, one(1) fruit, cold cereal, milk/juice/coffee and hot tea. Price will/will not include service fee. , 160, EA; LI 004, Lunch Buffet FFP Lunch for 160 participants will be required on Sat, 22 Sep 2007. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Meals are to consist of 2 salads, soup, 2 meats (mexican style-tacos/fajitas), taco toppings, vegetable, starch, dessert, coffee and tea. Price will/will not include service fee., 160, EA; LI 005, Meeting Space FFP One (1) meeting space capable of seating 86 participants comfortably in a lecture environment, including writing surfaces. Conference room is required on Sep 21 2007 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm; Sep 22 2007 from 9:00 to 11:00 am and Sep 23 2007 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. A central location for lecture complete is required. Resort is required to provide projection screen, cart and stand, tripod screen, all cabling extension cords, 3 microphones with 4 channel mixer, plus projector. Chairs shall be free floating but comfortable enough to sit in for several hours in a lecture environment. Chairs shall not be fixed to tabular areas in order to support breaking the main body of participants into small groups. Three(3) additional smaller rooms with sinks to be used for children during the same times as above, capable of holding 25 people. TV/DVD player is required in 2 of the rooms. , 2, DAYS; For this solicitation, USA ACA Ft. Bragg intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Ft. Bragg is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Per diem rate for hotels in the Myrtle Beach , South Carolina area is $67; Meals $54 (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner).
