- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to solicit and award under the authority of FAR 12 and 13 for a commercial procurement to provide Alco (brand name only) parts for installation on board the Dredge McFarland. This order is for supplies only, no installation is included. This procurement is for Genuine Alco Diesel Engine Parts (Pump Parts) for Alco 251C Series Engines used on board the Dredge McFarland. All parts are to be new and shall be packaged and marked as specifi ed in the solicitation. Any offer of remanufactured or rebuilt parts is unacceptable and will be denied. All parts provided shall be genuine Alco authorized OEM replacement parts. No aftermarket parts will be acceptable. Certification must be provided stating that all materials being supplied are genuine ALCO parts. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about Wednesday, 12 September 2007 and the closing date for receipt of quote will be Thursday, 20 September 2007. All items shall be delivere d to Fort Mifflin Distribution Center located in Philadelphia, PA. The intent is to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to a small business. The FedTeds system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can b e performed through the FedBizzOpps system. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://www.fedteds.gov on or after the issue date of the solicitation. All contr actors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
