Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, Utah has a requirement for 300 tons of medium bales (800 - 1000lbs) and 80 tons of small bales (80 - 100lbs) of alfalfa hay to be delivered to the BLM Wild Horse located in Herriman, Utah. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number for this notice is JSQ074115. 1.Alfalfa Hay, Medium Bales (800 -1000lbs) 300 tons Unit Price $___________ Total Price $________________ 2.Alfalfa Hay, Small Bales (80 - 100lbs) 80 tons Unit Price $_____________ Total price $________________ Statement of work: This requirement is for clean hay suitable for horses and burros, free from mold, foxtails and other noxious weeds. Hay is to be 1st, 2nd or 3rd cutting from 2007. No prior year hay will be accepted. Hay is to be delivered, offloaded and stacked at the Herriman corrals. Delivery will be on an as needed basis. Each delivery shall be made within 7 days after notification of need. Complete delivery shall be no later than October 10, 2007. Contractor shall provide a means to offload and stack the hay. Hay will be made available before delivery if the Government requests. Hay will be stacked in 2 hay barns and on a gravel pad as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative. The solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-19. Technical Capability: Offeror to be regularly established in the business called for this Solicitation. 2. Past Performance: The Government may, at its discretion, base past performance on past knowledge and previous experience with the contractor, supply or service being provided, customer survey or other reasonable basis. 3.
