- The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate from a written quotation, a SOLE SOURCE contract for commercial services for MATTRESS RENOVATION services in accordance with FAR Part 12 using FAR Part 13 procedures with National Bedding Company d.b.a. Serta Mattress as they have an existing facility in place that performs the mattress renovation services. Contractors shall be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. This Solicitation, Number is N00604-07-T-0390 is an internet-only solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation shall not be available. Phone requests are not accepted. Submit the signed and completed solicitation quotation and the representations and certification clauses (complete them at https://orca.bpn.gov) to deborah.pettingell@navy.mil or faxed to (808) 473-0811by 10:00 am Hawaii Standard Time on 17 Sep 07. When applicable, offerors shall submit brochures when offering an ?equal? product. The text of all referenced clauses can be viewed at http://arnet.gov/far. The solicitation can be downloaded from the FEDBIZOPPS on or about 12 Sep 07. An award is anticipated on or about 19 Sep 07. The criteria for award shall be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable, responsible offer: FOB Destination Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The requirements are as follows. The contractor shall be responsible for providing mattress renovation services for the Navy Housing facility. The contractor shall ensure mattresses are renovated in accordance with flammability and sterilization procedures and regulation. The base period of performance is from 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 and shall include (1) twelve month option periods. FAR 52.217-9 applies. Current Collective Bargaining Agreement applies.
