- Notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with American Technical Services (ATS) Inc. Glendale, CA, for Metbench Calibration Management System (MCMS) to provide logistics support of the Metbench System on shore calibration laboratories and on-board ships. MCMS is an integral part of the capability required to perform calibration of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) at depot, intermediate, and commercial calibration activities. MCMS also provides calibration recall, asset management and tracking, work status reporting, results capturing, and up-lining results data. The MCMS system replaces three legacy applications currently installed on ships. ATS designed the MCMS system and has the proprietary rights to the software protocols, experienced personnel to install systems and perform training to the fleet activities. Anticipated award date 26 Sept 2007 or sooner. Period of performance is twelve months after date of award. FOB destina tion to Corona, CA Justification and Authority is FAR 6.302-1.
