- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is M20001-07-Q-0003 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); the resulting purchase order shall be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) order. This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL acquisition. For those offerors of an OR EQUAL product, include in your offer descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, specifications or a clear reference of information readily available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. All interested and qualified small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. HDB15 M/M 0045: The contractor shall provide onsite installation and training on the proper use and maintanence of all audio visual equipment. The contractor is responsible for AMX System Programming. All equipment shall come with a three-year maintenance contract and three-years of premier plus maintenance shall be provided on the VSX7000e. Offerors must provide the details of their service plans within their quotation. Delivery and installation shall take place onsite at Camp Allen, Norfolk, VA. Registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is mandatory in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. Request for payment must be submitted via the Internet through the Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF RA) system at https://wawf.eb.mil. Usage of the system is at no cost to the contractor and training will be provided at http:// www.wawftraining.com. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible quoter whose technically acceptable quote conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Technical acceptance and Price. Award will be made on the basis of determining the technically acceptable quote, with the lowest evaluated price which meets or exceeds the requirements. Quotes will be evaluated on a pass or fail basis. If a quote cannot comply with every requirement, that quote will be determined not to be technically acceptable. Once a quote has been determined to be technically acceptable, then the Offeror with the lowest evaluated price will be awarded the purchase order..
