Then submit a quote per the instructions in the RFQ if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) require guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s Fair Lending Conference to be held during one of the following weeks in New Orleans, LA, Orlando, FL, Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY. September 7-10, 2007 September 14-17, 2007 The Fair Lending Conference will be held Monday through Wednesday. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms is 790. The program may consist of two receptions; one luncheon; one dinner; and a general session on two days. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site on September 10, 2007. The solicitation document will contain the details of the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quote will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in December 2007. *****
