- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to acquire through full and open competition the design, engineering, development, prototype fabrication, and support for aircraft integration, ground and flight testing of an Infrared Exhaust Suppressor (IES) for the A/MH-6M special operations aircraft. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) H92241-07-R-0034 on or before October 12, 2007 with proposal(s) due on November 26, 2007. The RFP will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity website at http://fedbizopps.gov. The contract award is expected to occur in the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2008. There is a possibility that a potential site visit may occur in the near future. The date for the site visit is unknown at this time. Request offerors look at the FedBizOps announcements regularly for additional information on the potential site visit. The period of performance is approximately two years from date of contract award which includes all options. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The contract is releasable to ALL firms. Requests from firms must be submitted in writing to the address below and must include business size. Proposals must be delivered to the U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn: AMSAT-D-TK (Sharon R. Gayle), 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, by the time specified in the RFP. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible U.S. sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The associate North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 33641.
