- 47-Tube Assembly, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-07-R-0468, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB, OK 73135-3030, for addition information contact Henry Miller/CBSG/PKB/ (405)734-8779, Email: henry.miller@tinker.af.mil This is a 100% small business set-aside buy. Item 0001 NSN 4710-01-077-0705NZ, Metal Tube Assembly and Part Number: 4054426. This is a one year basic with 2 one year options. Requirements the 1st year: 470 each; the 2nd year: 288 each; 3rd year: 300 each. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer or any other third party. Form/Fit/Function: Tube assembly provides air to the #4 bearing area on the F100-PW-100/200 engine. It is critical to engine operation. Material: Nickel Alloy, Spec PWA 1060. Dimensions: Assembly is 7.62 inches long, tube diameter is 1.0 inches nominal. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK. Delivery: 35 each per month. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 29 May 2007. The anticipated award date will be 9 July 2007. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms listed: E.A. Patten Co., Tube Bends, Inc. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
