N62473-07-T-4104, Amendment 01 is issued as follows: (1) To revise the Salient Characteristics to read as: Pump, Centrifugal, Dewatering/Trash, Portable, two (2) inch AGC, Model 8-M, Single Stage, Self-Priming, 135 GPM at 20 FT Total Dynamic Head (TDH) with two (2) Male Cam Lock, Diesel-Engine Driven (DED) Engine JP5/JP8 Capable, Skid Mounted, with Lifting Points and Tie Downs, with four (4) Each two (2) inch X ten (10) feet Rubber, Wire-Reinforced Suction/Discharge Hoses And Male And Female Cam Lock (Male on one end, and Female on the other end), with one (1) each two (2) inch foot value with Female Cam Lock, with one (1) each two (2) inch strainer (square hole type) NPT with female Cam Lock, Base, Pump and Engine Painted Seabee Green # 34064 (Lusterless Green) with Identifying Markings. (End of Salient Characteristics paragraph). (2) To answer Contractor's questions as follows: Question 1: How many 135 gpm pumps are needed? Answer 1: QTY IS 5EA AT THIS TIME Question 2: I need to know if these are hydraulic pump or electric pumps? Answer 2: Pump, centrifugal, DEWATERING/TRASH, PORTABLE, 2 IN , MODEL 8-M, SINGLE STAGE, SELF-PRIMING, 135 GPM AT 20 FT TDH with 2 male cam lock, diesel-engine driven (DED) Engine must be JP5/JP8 capable, skid mounted, with lifting points and tie downs, Question 3: How long should the hoses or electrical cords be? NO ELECTRICAL CORD. Answer 3: FOUR (4) ea 2 inches x 10 feet rubber, wire-reinforced suction/discharge hoses and male and female cam lock (male 1 end, female 1 end), with one (1) ea 2 inches foot value with female cam lock, with one (1) ea 2 inches strainer (square hole type) NPT with female cam lock, base, Question 4: What website do I go to find the other submersible pump 500gpm for bid? Answer 4: PUMP IS NOT SUBMERSIBLE, IT IS A SKID MOUNTED PUMP, DIESEL-ENGINE DRIVEN (DED) WEBSITE UNKNOWN. Question 5: In the description it says it has to be a model M-8. What does this mean? Answer 5: ENGINE AND PUMP SPECIFICATIONS FOR A 2? SUCTION/DISCHARGE PUMP. LISTED ON THE MINIMUM CAPACITY TABLES FOR M RATED SELF-PRIMING CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS. (MANUFACTURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARDS OF THE CONTRACTORS PUMP BUREAU) All other terms and conditions of this solicitation remains the same. ---End of Amendment 01--- NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
