- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quotation (RFQ HC1021-07-T-2043) is being issued by DITCO-EUROPE, Unit 4235, Box 375, APO AE 09136-5375. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-20 and DAC 91-13. The proposed Brand Name acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price commercial item type contract in accordance with the procedures detailed in FAR 13.5. NAICS code 334119 applies. Description of requirement: The US Government has a requirement for Carrier Access Network Equipment. The contract will include the following CLINs: Item 0001, CARRIER ACCESS, 02-CA1-000000-00, ADIT 600 E1 Base 115/-48V, 115/-48V Chassis, Power Supply, Dual E1 TDM Controller, SNMP and RPM Management, 5 Blank Card Faceplates, Brand Name required, QTY: 10, Item 0002, CARRIER ACCESS 740-0090, Quad 4-Wire, E and M/TO Card, Four Channel 4-Wire E and M/TO Card for Voice Applications, Minimum Controller Software Release required is Rev. 8.0, Brand Name required, QTY: 20, Item 0003, CARRIER ACCESS, 710-0016, 19 inch and 23 inch Rack Installation Kit, 19 inch and 23 inch Rack Mount Brackets for mounting two ADIT 600 Chassis side-by-side, 6 PIN Mating Alarm Connector and Ground Lug, Brand Name required, QTY: 10, Item 0004, CARRIER ACCESS, 790-0006, Single Rack Installation Kit Connectors and Mounting Hardware, contains Ground Lug, Mating DC Power and Alarm Connectors, Mounting Hardware, Brand Name required, QTY: 10, Item 0005, Shipping and Handling, QTY: 1 lot, Delivery shall be made no later than 30 days after receipt of order unless otherwise stated on quotation. This equipment purchase is part of an ongoing MAJCOM-wide TCF Modernization Program and will be an extension of previously purchased and installed equipment. Carrier Access equipment is required to ensure coverage by our Enterprise Software and Hardware Maintenance Subscription under contract HC1021-06-P-2043 through 30-SEP-2009. If an alternate brand name of multiplexer equipment was purchased, a separate software and hardware maintenance contract would have to be purchased separately at an approximate cost of $3,667.50 per year or $7,335.00 through the existing maintenance contract period of performance. 4.
