- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Lab (NVSL) in Ames, IA intends to procure subscription services for professional journals for the period January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. The USDA intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the entire cost of all subscriptions on the list to be provided in the solicitation for the year 2008. This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-07-0078, will be released on or about September 10, 2007 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. NAICS code is 424920 with a size standard of 500 employees.
