- This special notice provides public notice of the Forest Service's intent to purchase a Rollei Aerial Industrial Camera (AIC) specifically designed for aerial imagery and will include lenses, cables and software. This camera body is being purchased to be used with a compatible digital imager currently owned by the Forest Service. Estimated value of the digital imager is $20,000. Estimated value of the camera body and associated equipment is $70,000. The Government intends to purchase the camera body from RolleiMetric or one of its U.S. Distributors as it is the only known solution that is compatible with the existing digital imager. Any parties interested in proposing a similar, compatible solution to the RolleiMetric Aerial Industrial Camera should contact Mari Meiners, Contract Specialist, no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2007.
