Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 127417 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 453998 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for Southwest Sensors. These sensors are manufactured by Southwest Microwave, Inc., 9055 South McKemy Street, Tempe, AZ 85284-2946 designed to meet the USSS needs. These sensors are required for compatibility with existing equipment and replacing inoperative components. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract. Line Item 0001: Quantity ? 5 Each of the Southwest Microwave 300B-33257 High Reliability Sensor. Line Item 0002: Quantity ? 5 Each of the Southwest Microwave 310B-33259 High Reliability Sensor. Line Item 0003: Quantity ? 5 Each of the Southwest Microwave 380-33453 High Reliability Sensor. Line Item 0004: Quantity ? 5 Each of the Southwest Microwave 385-33301 High Reliability Sensor. Line Item 0005: Quantity ? 10 Each of the Southwest 405 Outdoor Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR). The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity, FOB Destination, with all freight included in the delivered price, within thirty (30) days of contract award. Delivery to U.S. Secret Service ? Technical Security Division, 843 Brightseat Road (Rear), Landover, MD 20785. All quotations shall include a unit price for the stated quantity, as well as the total price. Quotations must contain the following: 1) Unit pricing; 2) Name of company, point of contact, telephone number, and fax number; 3) Proposed delivery schedule; 4) Company business size and status; 5) Company tax identification number; 6) Company DUNS number; and 7) Company purchase order address. Please note: All offerors shall forward their quotations via e-mail to the attention of Michael Velez at michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov. Quotations must be received no later than 3:00 pm, local time, Friday, September 14, 2007. Please note: An award is anticipated within seven (7) days of receipt of quotations.
