- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a contract for Aseptic Housekeeping Services for the interior areas of the VA Carson Valley Outpatient Clinic located in Minden, Nevada, which consists of a second floor location and is approximately 6,320 square feet and the VA Lahontan Valley Outpatient Clinic located in Fallon, Nevada, which consists of approximately 8,711 square feet. This is expected to be a one year contract with four yearly option periods that the Government may exercise at its discretion. Contractor is required to provide all labor, supplies, management and general expertise necessary to fulfill this requirement. To be eligible for award, firm must possess the expertise, capability, and experience to provide Aseptic Cleaning Services in a medical facility. The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months in providing the same or similar services. This requirement is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code of 561720, Size Standard is $15.0 million, and Product Service Code S201 applies. The solicitation should be issued on or about September 12, 2007. Interested participants wishing to make an offer are encouraged to attend a site visit. For information concerning the date/time of the site visit send your request via email by September 12, 2007 at 3:00 PM. It is anticipated that the site visit will be held on September 14, 2007. NOTE: This contract must be in place by October. 1, 2007. Please submit any questions you may have as soon as possible. Answers will be provided to all interested participants. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to Sue.broady@va.gov. Solicitation is subject to availability of funding. Offers shall be submitted on an all-or-nothing basis. Only one award will be made. Small businesses, especially veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, are encouraged to contact their nearest Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) if assistance is needed in preparing their offer. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to receive an award. The Government will not reimburse firms for any cost incurred for submitting an offer for this acquisition. All responses must be submitted by email to Sue.broady@va.gov.
