- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4830-07-Q-0072 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20, Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 Correction, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2007-0823. This solicitation will be set-aside for small business IAW FAR 19.502. The North American Industry Classification System is 532112. The size standard is $21.50 million. BID SCHEDULE: Bid Schedule shall be for Vehicle Lease: One Year Lease Truck ? Lease Period: 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. Lease 2007 For F-450 4X4 Crew Cab with the following options to tow a convention trail, weighing 16,000 lbs cross country for TDY Purposes, Description: Telescoping mirrors, spare tire and wheel, brake controller, XL Tirm, rear stabilizer bar, 6.0L V-8 Turbo Diesel, Torqshift 5-speed automation transmission, 235/70R19 BSW all season tires, 4.30 ratio limited slip rear axle, 16,000 GVWR Package, trailer towing package, jacket, dual 40 & 19 gallon fuel tanks, convenience package which includes - tilt stearing wheel, cruise control, A/C, and AM/FM CD/Clock radio, 9? platform bed with 42? metal stakes, H.D. (16,000 lbs) hitch with gussets to frame and 7-way plug, lights, and mud flaps with anti-sail brakets. Annual rates include 20,000 miles per year. Excess mileage is billed at lease end. Full maintenance for the term of the lease that will cover items that are not covered under the manufacturer 3 years/26,000 miles warranty i.e. oil changes, brakes tire, as long as the tire replacement is attributed to normal wear and tear and not driver abuse, wipers, etc. TAGS for 12 months. Lease will be for 12 months with one option year remaining Contractor will take care of tags and registrations and send a check made out to the Lowndes County Tax Commissioner for the amount of the tag as billed by the Tag Office and mail to customer upon request, 12 months. Item quoted must be the exact item listed OR EQUAL. The contracting officer will determine if the quoted product is a suitable substitution making them qualify as an OR EQUAL product. DELIVERY/ACCEPTANCE: Delivery shall be made not later than 31 Oct 2007 to 723 AMXS/MXAAF, 7180 Savannah Street, Bldg 662, Moody AFB, GA 31699. FOB POINT: Destination. Destination price must include shipping. EVALUATION: This acquisition is for a FY 08 requirement. Acquisition will be made UPON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING. PERIOD OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERORS: The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm till 1 October 07.?
