- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition to provide personnel, equipment, and all necessary materials to provide Portable Toilets rental and service for Sheppard Air Force in Wichita Falls, Texas. This acquisition is for servicing the portable toilets, supplying portable toilets for routine cleanings, emergency service, and non-emrgency service. All work will be accomplished in accordance with Performance Work Statement which will be submitted with the solicitation. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, this acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562991; the small business size standard is $6.5 million. The projected basic performance period is 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 plus two one-year options. In lieu of a twelve-month option, the Government reserves its right to unilaterally exercise any/all remaining option periods for six-month option periods, as a result of subsequent OMB A-76 actions. However, options are not guaranteed or required to be exercised. The solicitation will be released approximately 11 September 2007. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to obtain the solicitation and its amendments and downloading them for their files. Paper copies WILL NOT be provided. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Electronic Posting System at http://eps.gov/. Prospective offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry www.ccr.gov for award of a contract.
