- This is a competitive acquisition under FAR Part 12 -Commercial. This announcement constitutes a notice to all potential small business offerors that 412 TW has a requirement for TRANSIENT AIRCRAFT FLEET SERVICES for Edwards AFB (EAFB), CA. The Government plans to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for a five year base period. The Proposal for this acquisition will be FA9302-07-R-00024. Potential contractors are required to have the knowledge and capability to perform aircraft fleet services as stated within the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). It is anticipated the period of performance of the resultant contract will be a basic period of five years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, Aircraft janitorial services as a commercial activity, with a size standard of $15,000,000. Offerors will be provided 14 days to respond to this RFP. Any Questions and Answers will be posted to this listing to ensure all potential offerors are receiving adequate and equal information. Telephone requests for the RFP will not be accepted. RFP requests will be accepted through the Contracting Office via e-mail, fax or mail carrier. Firms responding to this must be a small business. Respondents must specify whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website (http://www.ccr.gov) or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. Interested contractors should ensure any potential organizational conflicts of interest have been, or are in the process of being, mitigated to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer. We anticipate award of a contract to the successful offeror not later than 28 September 2007. The criteria for selection of award are stated within the attached ?Instructions to Offors?. To be considered, please provide proposal not later than close of business (4:00pm PCT) on 23 Sep 2007.
