- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2CFKC7232A001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 2007-0314 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2007-0327. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 423690, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed priced contract. Contract will consist of two (2) line items. CLIN 0001 Twenty-seven (27) each Dual 250 Watt UHP Lamp for the iQ500. BARCO or equal. R98-41760. CLIN0002 Install three (3) Dual Lamps in current projectors, BARCO IQ 500. Installation will take place on Hickam AFB, Hawaii 96853. The projectors are ceiling mounted approximately twenty (20) feet above finished floor. The mounts have motorized guy wired to lower the projector to the ground. Quotation shall include all freight delivery costs for FOB destination to Hickam AFB Hawaii 96853. If submitting equal items, product literature must be submitted with the quote. Quotes should be in the following format: Price for each item independently, price for combined line items including shipping cost FOB Destination. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offer: technical capability, price and delivery schedule. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quotation is determined to be the most advantageous to the government. Award basis best value. Offeror must ensure the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006) (this must be completed on http://orca.bpn.gov), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2005), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) is included with the quotation.
