- Description
- Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, has a requirement for direct procurement method (DPM) packing, crating, containerization and local drayage of household goods and unaccompanied baggage. Services are to be performed in the vicinity of Eielson Air Force Base and Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. Offerors must be certified by Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) prior to performance. Required services are based on Department of Defense Transportation Regulation 4500.9R, Part IV, Appendix G, available at http://www.transcom.mil/j5/pt/dtr_part_iv.cfm. The NAICS code is 488991, size standard $23.5 million. The solicitation, FA5000-07-R-0025, will be issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued on or about 01 October 2007 with a closing date on or about 31 October 2007. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award.
