Response Date: September 12, 2007 2:00 p.m. NAICS Code: 334511 This is a sources sought notice, for written information only, to identify certified Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business the capabilities to provide support for the GPS Base Kits, Rovers and supplies. The U.S. Army Engineer School will be procuring GPS Base Kits and Equipment for use with ITRO School. All equipment must be fully compatible with the legacy equipment and software currently employed in the training curriculum without any special interface or integration. The product being utilized currently is Trimble. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334511. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COST PROPOSAL. Interested small business offerors may submit a brief capability statement, no more than three (3) pages, demonstrating how they plan to meet the above requirement. Standard brochures will not be considered. The capability statement should include the foll owing: (1) Name of vendor; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail); (3) Technical description of capabilities in meeting the requirement; (4) Technical support experience; (5) Business size and classification. Businesses shall submit an electronic copy of the requested information to James Tucker. Submission via mail or hand carry/courier/ or overnight carrier, see address below. Responses are due no later than September 12, 2007, 2:00 p.m. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
