- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Lafayette Business Machines, Incorporated to provide cost per copy services for a six (6) month bas e period with three (3) one (1) month option periods only. This action will allow the Government sufficient time to prepare a competitive solicitation utilizing the Enterprise Copier Support Services BPAs issued by ACAs Southern Region Contracting Cente r East. This requirement is for the lease of approximately 518 copiers with a period of performance that begins 1 October 2007. This requirement requires the contractor to furnish all labor, transportation, parts, equipment and all supplies (toner, sta ples, and copy-developer, except paper) necessary to lease copiers at Fort Bragg North Carolina and for other Government organizations in the surrounding area. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award of this requirement will be in accordance w ith Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this service for a six month period of performance, you must respond by 14 September 2007, 3:00 p.m. EST.
