- The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source contract to DV Serve, 3029 Bergin St, Houston, TX on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Othe r Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The proposed procurement is for a Media Editing Workstation for the Fort Hood, Public Affairs Office (PAO). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to r espond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. DV Serve is the only known source capable of producing the Media Editing Workstation. Components a nd associated products must be unique to the Fort Hood Public Affairs Office that will mirror the existing systems of the Training Support Center (TSC) for current and future production. No telephone requests will be accepted.
