Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for commercial items. The projected posting date for the final written soliciation notice is O/A Wednesday, 12 September 2007. Requirement is for contractor to support, maintain/sustain 90 currently fielded Norsat I nternational terminal systems at stateside and various overseas (e.g. Europe, Asia, Middle East) to include PMI's and other repair/service restoration actions as needed. Contractor will have user/operating training requirements at stateside and limited ov erseas locations. Fielding of future compatible systems will be required as will be sustainment and maintenance of same. ONLY PROPOSALS FROM SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS (SBA VALIDATED) WILL BE ACCEPTED AND CONSIDERED TO FULFILL THIS REQUIREMENT. The contrac t shall (1) supply complete DVIDS sytems (estimated 30 per year), (2) provide DVIDS replacement parts, units on DVIDS systems, (3) provide Maintenance/Repair services, and (4) provide once a year routine preventive maintenance service and system checks on all systems. The contract is anticipated to be for one year with one 12-month option year. The Statement of work and a list of DVIDS parts is attached to this PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS ) code for this acquisition is 517510; small business size standard is $13.5 million. Questions may be sent to Mr. H.
