- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Custom Electric & Controls, 4630 16th St. E Suite B24, Fife, WA 98424. This contract will be for the procurement of CLIN 0001: Winch Facility, Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 1. Custom Electric Company previously installed a Tilt Table at YPG and the same operating software/controls are required fo r the Winch Facility in order to maintain test data consistency. Custom Electric has proprietary data rights on the software/firmware and the same software is needed to maintain consistency in the data output between the two systems. Award of this requirem ent will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 13 September 2007, 12:00 PM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation W9124R-07-T-1133 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimil e to (928) 328-6849. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 6 days instead of 45 days.
