Description

DESC: TACOM-Rock Island is preparing a solicitation to procure 42 each Cylinder, Assemblies, NSN: 3040-00-522-0409, Part Number: 11674160 for use on the M60 Tank. This is a hydraulic cylinder requiring parts machined from steel castings and tubing. Parts include sleeve assy, guide, cylinder, piston, guide assy, eye assy, misc. packing, valve assy, covers, lock valve assy, bearings, shield, screws and washers. The part is approximate 42 inches long. Performance requirements bases on the assembly filled with hydraulic fluid, fire resistant spec MIL-H-46170. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. The proposed contract will require First Articl e Testing. The proposed contract will require light and heavy phosphate coating. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 07 Sep 26. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will n ot be provided.
